What is this project about?

This call for proposals, launched within the PRISMA Framework for Digital Democracy and Citizenship, focuses on supporting youth organisations and networks to implement activities that strengthen digital citizenship, democratic participation, and European values. It provides financial support for local, national, or regional initiatives, while connecting them to a wider European framework and shared narrative.

Through this initiative, organisations are encouraged to design activities adapted to their own communities, while contributing to a broader goal of building more active, informed, and engaged citizens in the digital age. The project emphasises participation, inclusion, and the role of young people in shaping democratic societies.

The activities can include workshops, campaigns, community events, discussions, and non-formal learning sessions focused on topics such as digital participation, critical thinking, media literacy, and civic engagement. By working at local level but within a European network, participants have the opportunity to connect their experiences with wider European priorities and exchange ideas across countries.

Beyond the activities themselves, the project aims to empower young people to take an active role in their communities, express their opinions, and engage responsibly in digital and democratic spaces. It supports them in developing practical skills, confidence, and awareness, enabling them to become active contributors to society and to promote democratic values within their own environments.
