We participated in the Get Up, Stand Up! 4 the HRs training course in Sighișoara, Romania, joining youth workers from across Europe to strengthen human rights, democracy, and active citizenship in youth work.

The main objectives of the project

The training focused on transforming theoretical knowledge into social action. We aimed to:

• Deepen understanding of democracy and active citizenship on a European level.
• Reflect on our roles as educators in a rapidly changing political landscape.
• Empower youth to move from passive observers to active community participants.

By the end of the project, we had gained new skills, built international connections, and created concrete plans to bring these insights into our organisations. Get Up, Stand Up! 4 the HRs left us motivated and ready to continue fostering inclusive and active communities through youth work.
